# Servers

Servers represent Polyscope instances running on your machines. Each server connects to the Polyscope cloud and makes its local repositories available through the API.

## List Servers

Returns all Polyscope servers connected to your account.

**Fields**

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `id` | string | Unique server identifier |
| `name` | string | Display name of the server |
| `version` | string | Installed Polyscope server version |
| `platform` | string | Operating system (`darwin`, `linux`, `win32`) |
| `online` | boolean | Whether the server is currently connected |
| `connected_at` | string | ISO 8601 timestamp of last connection |

> **Note:** API requests that target a specific server (e.g. creating a workspace with `server_id`) will fail with a `503 server_offline` error if that server is not online.
